The International Poultry Council (IPC) has announced its new composition for 2024, with Richard Griffiths, Chief Executive of the British Poultry Council, elected Vice President, and Ricardo Santin, CEO of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal), assuming Presidency.

In his role as Vice President, Mr Griffiths will play a pivotal role in bolstering IPC’s mission by engaging with our global community and driving tangible outcomes for the industry putting safe, affordable, nutritious and lower impact food on every table. With a focus on the future of global food systems and the vital role of poultry in ensuring food security worldwide, Vice President Richard Griffiths will work with the IPC community to steer efforts to shape the trajectory for the international poultry industry.

Mr Griffiths said, “The new IPC Executive Committee brings together a wealth of voices, expertise, and backgrounds. All of us are ready to take the next steps to champion the poultry industry on the global stage and support our members in their efforts to feed the world.”

As Vice President, Mr Griffiths will work closely with President Ricardo Santin and the entire IPC community to implement initiatives that advance the interests of the global poultry sector. With a comprehensive vision for the future, the IPC Executive Committee aims to address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, fostering collaboration and innovation at an international scale.
